Founded in 1980, Inspiration Books East, Inc. (IBE) is a recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.

For more than 40 years, IBE has been publishing the "Good News" of Jesus Christ, with special emphasis upon "the sure word of prophecy" foretelling the soon return of Christ to Earth as "King of kings" according to the promise of Scripture.

IBE publishes and distributes Spirit of Prophecy full-text books and compilation booklets, free of charge, in more than 20 languages and more than 150 countries worldwide. Following the break-up of the USSR, IBE was one of the first Christian organizations to enter Russia, successfully distributing hundreds of thousands of publications and Bibles throughout Russia and the Ukraine.

We believe Ellen White’s statements that her “writings will speak as long as time shall last,” and that “If there is one work more important than another, it is that of getting our publications before the public, thus leading them to search the Scriptures.”

We maintain a healthy ongoing Prison Ministry to facilities across the United States and beyond, freely offering books, booklets, and sometimes DVDs and CDs.

Besides our physical books and booklets, we also produce business cards and postcards with QR-code links to free downloads of all our books.  These cards are easy to share and are effective low-cost tools for evangelism.

By God's grace we have in recent years delivered hundreds of thousands of pieces of literature into Cuba. Frequent calls from the Cuban Union have made this Island Nation a ready recipient for evangelistic materials.
